Team members needed on site to host a community meal
Every week, A Better Life Foundation invites neighbours from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside community for a free, 3-course sit-down dinner in the iconic Save On Meats building.
We call it Plenty of Plates (POP), a community meal hosted by volunteer teams who fund the event and prep, cook and serve 80 people a home-cooked, nutritious and delicious meal.
Typically, Plenty of Plates has been booked by offices and businesses looking for team-building activities. However, we’ve enjoyed sharing the experience with many families and friends over the years.
To kick off 2025, we’ve created some incentives and accommodations to make booking with families a little easier.
